Buffon’s Needle Simulation

The websketch below is a simulation of Buffon’s Needle. Drag controls to change the needle length or the spacing between the lines. The action button will drop a thousand needles all at once, and successes and failures are counted for comparing the experimental results with the theoretical probability. Clicking the same button again executes another thousand trials, not likely with the same results.
